Walkout "is" the most fundamental movement that dancers use to navigate the floor, and it originated in the early days of popping dance. This foundational element adds a dynamic flair to every routine, making it a crucial skill for any dancer to master.
Starting Position: Stand with your feet shoulder-width apart and your arms relaxed at your sides.
Step Out: Step one foot out to the side. Your weight should shift to the stepping foot while the other foot stays in place.
Body Isolation: As you step out, isolate your upper body, typically your chest or shoulders, in a controlled manner. This isolation often involves popping your chest out or rolling your shoulders.
Return to Center: Bring your foot back to the starting position, maintaining the same level of control and isolation.
Repeat: Perform the move in a rhythmic sequence, often alternating sides and adding variations with different body parts.
Numerous other elements can blend into this movement. Including waves, roll.....
Thankyou guys!
